About the Sunday Polo at Eldorado Polo Club
When it comes to polo in the Greater Palm Springs area, there is no other place to be than the Eldorado Polo Club in Indio.
For years, the Eldorado Polo Club has been hosting Sunday Polo events, which usually start at the beginning of the year.
This 2019, Sunday Polo at Eldorado Polo Club commenced last January 6 and will continue on until March 24. The games will take place every Sunday, starting at 12 noon until 2:00 in the afternoon. Despite the late start, guests can start coming in at 10:00 in the morning, when gates of the Eldorado Polo Club open.
There are three ways to enjoy Sunday Polo at the Eldorado Polo Club:
- Sunday Polo at the ClubhouseFor a small price of $10, spectators access a seat with great views of the polo match. From your seat, you’ll have access to a full-service menu and bar for snacks and refreshments. Parking is also available and comes at the small cost of $10 per car.
Reservations are highly recommended. Call ahead at (760)-831-POLO (7656) to secure your seat.
- Sunday TailgatingLooking for a more casual vibe for your Sunday polo experience? The folks at Eldorado Polo Club recommend “Sunday Tailgating.”
Since you don’t need to pay for a seat, you can bring as many friends and family as you like. Set up a nice Sunday picnic at the specified areas (usually located on the north and south of the Clubhouse). Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs, food, and even pets.
If you don’t want the hassle of preparing and bringing food, guests opting for Sunday Tailgating can also take out meals from the Clubhouse Courtyard.
Make sure to arrive well ahead of the game to secure a great spot.
- Weekend Polo at the PatioEnjoy delectable food in a comfortable setting at the Cantina Patio while you watch a live polo game. This option is especially recommended for first-time polo spectators ! Why? Eldorado’s resident expert will be on site to provide play-by-play commentary.
Weekend polo at the Patio is on a first-come, first-served basis. It is highly advised to get here as soon as the gates open to get a good table.
